Description
Avery Cook '21 is a creative writing major born, raised, and now educated in upstate New York. On campus, she is a chapel intern, a Special Collections student assistant, and co-captain of the women’s rugby team. Her goal after Hamilton is to work in publicity for children’s books and her goal as a writer is to create a story that crosses Dennis Johnson with the almighty Flannery O’ Connor. Her literary heroes include O’ Connor, Margaret Fishback, and Kyandreia Jones.
Malik Irish '22 is from Boston, MA and a Posse Scholar. Has been writing for about five years and has an interest in the arts ranging from music, dance, drawing, and performing. Wants to double major in Sociology and Art and hopes to find a career that brings both fields together and stability.
